An Advocate for Emeryville’s Children

Dear Neighbor:

As City Councilmember, I have championed Emeryville’s Partnership with Emery Unified School District, a model of city-school collaboration that has attracted national attention. I understand that for our community to thrive—our students need up-to-date classrooms that support today’s technology, local education funding, and scholarships.

I have fought for City-School partnerships, local funding for Emeryville schools, and safe classrooms. As co-chair of the successful Measure J campaign here in Emeryville, I helped to ensure that our students have what they what they need to succeed in college and career.

I would be honored if you would join Emeryville’s education community including Emery USD Board President Miguel Dwin and Boardmembers Melodi Dice and Joshua Simon in supporting my re-election.
